Abstract
This literature review was commissioned by the Welsh Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) and undertaken by Dr Sion Tetlow of the Welsh Institute for Health and Social Care (WIHSC) located at University of South Wales (USW). The literature review was commissioned as part of ongoing work for the WCVA Welsh Government funded project ‘Third Sector Infrastructure for Health and Social Care.’ WIHSC submitted a bid for the project which aimed to do a rapid literature review of existing academic literature, grey literature and statistics on delayed hospital discharge in Wales.
