    Abstract

    Commissioned Research
    Value Wales study of Procurement Low Value Advertising with the following objectives:
    a) A study of the thresholds for advertising, and competition i.e. requests for quotation (RFQ) and invitation to tender (ITT) used across Wales.
    b) Identification of the extent to which contracting authorities in Wales are using approved lists of suppliers and how such lists are being managed and maintained.
    c) To establish if there is a correlation between the number of professional procurement staff and the thresholds at which contracts are advertised.
    d) To compare performance in Wales with practice across the UK and Europe.
