Abstract

This review paper is considered most of the previous research regarding Thermal IR (Infrared) camera. Showing all types of IR with a brief information for each one. Then introducing the historical background of thermal technology and state of art for various thermal face analysis. This study aims to highlight the spot on all types of IR imaging on face recognition. Also, this review presents the most popular methods of IR camera as well as the benefits and drawbacks for each type of them in order to build a new system using real-time.
