Abstract

In this panel discussion each of the four speakers in a short presentation outlined their own field of expertise in literary translation and use of bridge languages for translation of literary texts in lesser-used languages. The panel then debated current issues in the field, including the tensions between globalisation and minority languages and the technical challenges and advantages of bridge translation.
