    Abstract

The EPSRC National Mass Spectrometry Service Center (NMSSC) located in the School of Medical at Swansea has made available a simple and easy to navigate sample submission, tracking, analysis and results (STAR) interface in its website. The program allows registered scientists to enter information about the analytes to be studied and request varying levels of details. Once the account or 'Allocation Holder' has been configured by the center staff then these customer superuses can create their own local submitter lists. Sample information that is required include sample reference, molecular formula, molecular weight, and molecular structure, melting points determined and solubility information, and relevant health & Safety information of the samples.
