    Abstract

    The purpose of this chapter is to provide information on the role of an analyst and the process that an analyst must go through, to provide reliable and efficient support for the team or individual in question. The chapter aims to bridge the gap between academia and the elite sport environment, for analysis, drawing upon the experience and guidance of an analyst, with nine years' experience.
