Abstract

With a focus on resource efficiency and environmental responsibility in the manufacturing and construction industries, sustainable welding practices are increasingly vital. AI is a revolutionary technology for developing welding processes that are energy efficient and minimizes waste material. Machine Learning-based predictive analytics and real-time monitoring systems allow for tight control of welding variables like heat input, material deposition, and arc stability. This minimizes defects, reduces errors, and avoids unnecessary loss of materials in operations. AI techniques, including machine learning algorithms, leverage large amounts of data information from welding sessions to anticipate failures and suggest corrections before the mistakes happen. With AI-centric innovations, it is possible to realise improvement opportunities for the welding industry with regard to material efficiency, waste, and environmental sustainability, aligning with global sustainable development stretches.
