    Abstract

    This paper describes one aspect of research on domiciliary care in a Welsh authority, undertaken to assist in strategic planning of services. It goes on to explain the significance of the findings for the training of home care staff, and the
    development of standards which have been incorporated in a new accreditation scheme.
