Abstract
This paper aims to explore mindfulness-based interventions for people with learning disabilities, and the development of a free online resource to support this population and their carers to access this therapeutic tool. The article examines potential barriers for people with learning disabilities in relation to accessing psychological therapies and the nurse’s role in supporting engagement of people with learning disabilities who wish to use and benefit from a mindfulness approach.
