    Abstract

    The book is the first multi-authored book which examines the developing interface between Gothic criticism and queer theory. It covers texts from the eighteenth century to the present day. Death, art, and bodies: queering the queer Gothic in Will Self’s Dorian The chapter critically assesses Will Self’s novel Dorian (2002) via queer theory.
