Abstract

This presentation is the last of 5 presentations as part of a Spotlight Panel on the above topic. It discusses the psychological concepts of resilience in reference to clinical music therapy and therapeutic music skillsharing. Work in the UK with displaced persons, and work in Palestine with teachers and health care workers is discussed, using the theories of Small (1999) and Ansdell (2015) as well as Pasioli (2012). The utility of this intervention and the effectiveness of skillsharing is discussed.
