Abstract

In this paper a 300W PEM FC Stack dynamic model is developed and implemented in MATLAB/Simulink. Using semi-empirical equations for modelling a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell is proposed for providing a tool for the design and analysis of fuel cell stack systems. The modelling results are compared with experimental results. The comparison shows good agreements between the modelling results and experimental data. The model could be used in PEM fuel cell control related studies
