    Abstract

This paper presents the hydrogen energy based fuel cell hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) system development. The research work includes the development and analysis of HEV system models for hybrid electrical vehicles via simulation study. We have developed a toolbox, which contains all the subsystems to create different types of HEV models. Real time implementations of hybrid electric vehicle are also discussed with reference to the use of the toolbox.
