Abstract

This is a short report based on the full evaluation of the Missing from Care Framework incorporating the Levels of Intervention Model pilot in West Yorkshire, conducted by Missing People and the University of South Wales.

The full report was provided to West Yorkshire Police (WYP), multi-agency partners in the pilot area, the Home Office, and the Department for Education. This short report details key findings for readers who may be interested in the impact of the Framework, or who are involved in implementing the Framework in other areas. This could include professionals from local authorities, social care, care providers, police and youth services.

The purpose of this report is:
• To be used by police forces and local areas considering implementing the Framework
• To give guidance about what is needed to ensure successful implementation of the
Framework: both measures for success and barriers to implementation
