Abstract
Analytics Labs are exciting research environments which focus on developing business intelligence. BI systems can help institutions gather information and present evidence on which to: plan for the future, benchmark different aspects of their performance against other institutions, and deploy limited resources to best effect. The analytics labs and community dashboards are part of a collaboration between Jisc and HESA to build a business intelligence shared service for higher education.
