From Idea to Impact: Creating a Capstone Project Module for International Students

Abstract

The Capstone Project is an integral element of the MBA Global, FBCI. Introduced in 2022, it replaced a traditional dissertation which has been included in the course from validation in 2019. The Capstone is an industry-led brief which requires students to work in teams to address a 'real-world' challenge facing industry. Depending on their specialisation, MBA Global students can be asked to tackle a range of briefs. This session explores why we made this change and, drawing on feedback and direct experience, why it works for both staff and students on MBA Global.
