N2 - Our particular focus in this article is forced marriage, which is inextricably linked with so-called honour-based violence and the collaborative research partnership between the University of South Wales (USW) and Bawso. A specialist pan-Wales organisation, Bawso has over 25 years of experience in working with, supporting, and advocating for ethnic minorities who are affected by these forms of abuse, including female genital mutilation, and human trafficking (over 6,000 each year).
