In June 2015, Katy Holloway and Jo Brayford (both of University of South Wales) and Kate Williams (then Aberystwyth University, now University of South Wales) were commissioned by the Gwent Police and Crime Commissioner on behalf of the Integrated Offender Management (IOM) Cymru partnership to undertake an evaluation of the Pan-Wales Women’s Triage (Diversion Scheme or Pathfinder Diversion Scheme). The results of the evaluation are presented in this report. The Executive Summary provides an overview of the background to the pilot and a summary of the methods used in the evaluation. It goes on to highlight the key findings and make tentative suggestions to guide the full roll-out of the
scheme.
