Abstract

This paper reports the preliminary results of a study on the effect of personality type on the extent to which Anodal tDCS can improve performance on work memory test. Double blind randomize tests were conducted on five individuals which after sham or tDCS was applied were asked to carry out n-back working memory test. Prior to experiments, the subject undertook the big 5 personality test. All subjects exhibited better memory scores on tDCS than on the sham. Furthermore the subject with highest “conscientiousness” score showed the highest improvement in working memory score.
