Abstract

Planar antenna plays a big role in the revolution of 5G communications because of its low profile and good performance. This work presented a dual band microstrip antenna for 5G applications. The suggested structure is printed on RT/duroid 5880 substrate of 7 × 12 × 0.4 ~ m m3. This design demonstrates good performance in terms of frequency bandwidth, gain, and radiation efficiency, making it a strong candidate for wireless communication. Moreover, the large propagation attenuation in the millimter-wave spectrum offers frequency reuse and communication security.
