Abstract

This study presents a compact ultra-wideband UWB SISO antenna designed for UWB communication systems. The primary objective is to develop a compact antenna system (20 ~mm × 15 ~mm) capable of operation across the entire UWB frequency range through strategic integration of metamaterials, the proposed single-input single-output (SISO) antenna achieves an extended impedance bandwidth from 3.05 GHz to 15 GHz, with significant self-isolation exceeding -20 dB in the UWB spectrum. Simulation results affirm the antenna's operational effectiveness, showcasing reliable functionality and optimal performance metrics.
