Abstract

Aims and intended learning outcomes. This article discusses the principles and practice of behavioural activation. After reading both parts of this article, reviewing the recommended reading, and reflecting on your practice you will be able to: Discuss the history of behavioural activation. Discuss the variuos definitions for behavioural activation. Describe the evidence based knowledge that underpins behavioural activation therapy practice.
