Change by Design, a working manifesto of how social inclusion and industry partnerships can be a force for change for all learners

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

Social inclusion and partnerships can be a force of change for all learners, however for the educator it can be a real balancing act. Setting the tone is key to managing not only Industry expectations but the learner’s educational wants and needs. Through developing professional practice modules I have made lots of mistakes and of course had a few little victories along the way. However by looking at a successful case study with Level 4 learners I have developed a working manifesto to create a frame work which can support future activities & collaborations. Herman Lee Donovon “The objectives of education and industry are identical. Both are interested in good citizenship, in serving society, in a better life and both firmly believe in freedom”
