Abstract

The Iechyd Morgannwg Health (IMH) smoking cessation service (SCS) was established in 1999, in direct response to a National Assembly for Wales' (NafW) circular WHC (99) 122. This circular provided advice and information on 'new money' available to help NHS eforts to help people stop smoking in line with the UK Government's White Paper on Tobacco which was published in December 1998.
