Abstract

This website is one of several outputs that resulted from an Academic Fellowship with the Welsh Senedd’s Research Service that was awarded to Professor Langford in 2021. The main aims of this research were to investigate the use of spatial analytical approaches to measure geographical variations in access to bank branches in Wales. This included mapping variations in potential access to branches, ATMs and building societies along with access to digital means of banking. Methods developed are described in more detail in Langford et al. (2021).

This online website provides detailed maps of spatial patterns of accessibility to those bank branches in place in Wales at that time (2021).
