Abstract

A Networked Control Platform Based on mobile phone with android operating system is introduced in this paper. It is a real-time platform to test the realistic performance of the networked control theory. The system adopts a more universal hardware platform: mobile phone, which is compact, low-cost and resourceful. At the same time, to shorten the developing period of control application, the platform makes use of Simulink Coder, which can generate control application from Simulink block diagram automatically. It will free the researcher from implementing the control algorithm in C language. The scheme has many advantages as low-cost, compactness and mobility. You can implement your networked control strategy instantly with only a computer and a mobile phone. In this paper we illustrate the overall framework and details and its potential applications. At last, experiments are implemented.
