Abstract

This paper presents a component-based framework for Belief, Desire, and Intention (BDI) agent programming in C++ that takes advantage of object orientation and provides a platform for agent development on a vast range of hardware, spanning from low-power single chip embeddable systems to high-performance grid computers. The framework is C++ standards conformant and supports debugging using tools provided by any standard IDE on virtually any operating-system platform.
