The project titled "Unveiling Digital Transformation – Investigating its Adoption in Indian Rural Consumers: A Case Study in Telangana" successfully concluded as a collaboration between the University of South Wales and NIT Warangal. Through a series of workshops, symposiums, and interactive training sessions, the initiative successfully heightened digital literacy and bridged the economic divide among rural Indian communities in Telangana. By focusing on practical education and economic opportunities, rural students gained significant awareness and understanding of digital tools. Comprehensive reports and policy recommendations were developed with the contribution of key stakeholders. Future activities to maintain and build upon these digital literacy initiatives have been outlined, ensuring continued impact. The project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4) and the Digital India initiative, showcasing partnership that promises to sustain and expand digital transformation effects in rural areas.
