Social prescribing connects people to local community assets, empowering individuals to support their health and wellbeing. USW and Public Health Wales have created www.splossary.wales, the first online glossary that allows users to make suggestions for social prescribing terms. It takes an important step towards helping to standardise social prescribing terminology across sectors and for the public.
This professional-facing glossary, for use alongside the national framework for social prescribing, serves as a valuable resource for practitioners, commissioners, and those whose professional roles bring them into contact with social prescribing.
