Description
A research team is investigating the barriers women face in advancing into leadership roles across industries, via a series of roundtables with senior industry members in the Cardiff Capital Region. aligning with SDG 5: Gender Equality.
In collaboration with the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), the team conducts inquiries into how three key issues are affecting gender equity in modern Welsh workplaces: sexual harassment and the Worker Protection Act, flexible working, and childcare. The research, funded by the Learned Society of Wales, is being turned into a podcast series to make findings accessible to businesses of all sizes and sectors, and employees at every level of the career ladder.
