Personal profile

Research interests

My academic background is in human geography, specialising in place-based approaches to citizen participation. I have research interests in housing, urban development and tenant participation.

I have collaborated on housing research with registered social landlords, exploring the spaces and practices of tenant participation and involvment. 

Teaching interests

I am the course leader for the BSc (Hons) Real Estate degree and teach across the University's built enviornment courses.

I am the interim course leader for the BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commerical Management degree. 

My teaching focuses on housing, urban development, urban planning and consultation in planning and construction. 

I lead the Faculty's sandwich and summer placements.
