An experienced professional theatre director whose work has been seen across the UK, in Europe and the USA. He has a particular interest in new writing, Welsh and Wales-based writers and ‘physical theatre’, as well as applied professional role play.
2000-2004 : Associate Director of the Sherman Theatre, Cardiff, with whom he directed main stage and studio productions as well as leading the Youth and Education department.
He is artistic director of f.a.b. theatre, a company he set up to create original productions, but particularly dedicated to Welsh and Wales-based writers and artists.
Worked in film, television and radio, in a variety of roles from production assistant to Director ( including producer/director BBC Arts programme The Slate, 30 min documentary episode)
has for many years been a live compere at Cardiff council festivals and various music gigs.
one of the three original co-founders of Swansea-based physical theatre company Volcano (87- 92).

He has many years experience in Role-Play performance for NHS, Goverment and professional recruitment & business training clients.
Steve Fisher was one of the three original founding members of Volcano Theatre Company and the only one to perform in all the original work between 1987 – 1992. Touring extensively throughout Wales, the U.K. (including the Edinburgh Fringe), Spain, the former East Germany, West Germany and the former Yugoslavia in the following productions
