Experience

I am responsible managing the National Cyber Security Academy within the University and the undergraduate, postgraduate and Continued Professional Development courses with in it and the Cyber Community Clinic which is offered from our Newport campus.

In addition to this I am responsible for developing industry partnerships and engagement within Cyber Security to support the cutting-edge learning opportunities on our courses and the departmental lead for innovation and enterprise activities.

I am an experienced lecturer in Digital Forensics, Digital Crime Scene Investigation, Governance, Business Management and Professional Practice and prior to Academic, have extensive experience as a Global Business Operations Manager in Voice and Data Telecommunications.

 

My research interests focus on data privacy and the accuracy and reliability of digital evidence.

 

I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a HEA approved external examiner and currently externally examine a PCDA and DHEP programme of study. I am also a member of the British Computer Society and the Charter Society for Forensic Sciences.
