Experience
Sarah is an award winning animator originally from Brighton Sussex . Now living in Cardiff Wales .
She is a lecturer in Animation on the BA Animation ( 2D Stop Mo) course in the Faculty of Creative Industries
Sarah has been a lecturer for over 30 teaching Digital moving image , Digital media design, film studies and Animation . She has also been a Course Leader for the BA Digital Media Design Course at City College Brighton and Hove ( Brighton University) as well as a practicing artist, writer and film maker
She has been an animator in Industry working on predominantly Children’s shows such as ‘Charlie and Lola’ ‘The Secret Show ’, and ’The Little Princess’
and worked extensively on comedy shows such as '2DTV' and 'Have I got news for you .'
Sarah has also worked for Saatchi & Saatchi (Microsoft envoy) and worked on development projects with Norman Cook ( Fatboyslim)
Her work as a film maker and VJ artist has been shown at ‘The London film festival’ in the Best of British Animation programmes’ as well as Rio de Janeiro Film festival in Brazil and The Holland Animation Festival, as well as being shown on Channel 4 and TVS television .
She has also chaired talks and been on subject boards at festivals such as Wired Sussex D'escape festival,The Norfolk women’s film festival and The Italian Cultural Centre Wales.
She has received Grants for her own project work from TVS Televsion, Southern Arts and Greater london Arts.
Sarah is responsible for a number of sucessful live client briefs most recently with the National Orchestra of Wales 'The Black Spider ' working with students producing animated back visuals for performance

Research interests
Sarah is passionate about moving image, Animation, Video and Film. Her own work mixes live action and animation together to create interesting narratives and creating alternative outputs for sustainable animated content as well as traditional series work . She is currently researching and working on projects using an interdisciplinary approach to producing work utilising the moving image and theatre . Cartoon Archetypical Slogan Theatre (CAST) and animated public art performance
