Experience
As a lecturer and HNC Course Leader in the Civil Engineering department, I apply my practical expertise to student learning; with a strong focus on active learning and challenge based learning in my lessons.
Before joining USW as a lecturer, I spent five years in industry, specialising in highway design with a focus on active travel, and drainage design including sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
I hold an MEng in Civil Engineering from USW, and am passionate about promoting gender equity in the field, a topic I will be exploring further in my upcoming PhD research.
