The Women's Liberation Movment in Wales in the 1970s and 1980s; women's activism in twentieth-century Britain; women and social change in twentieth-century Britain; marriage, family life, kinship networks, parenting, childhood and women’s employment.

Teaching interests

European history, c1750-1991; Britain in the twentieth century; women in Britain, 1792-2000; postwar Britain; the Chartist Rising in Newport, 1839; the origins of the First World War, c1870-1914; the home front in Brirtain during the First World War amd Second World War.
