I am an Associate Professor of Psychology with over 20 years’ experience at four Universities across the UK. Beginning my academic career as a research associate in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Hull, I have published over 30 papers, and attracted close to 100k in funding for research, service evaluation and studentships. Much of my early research focused on cognitive function in schizophrenia, but my focus these days is on a more diverse range of mental health topics, including; dual diagnosis, hoarding disorder, coulrophobia and the links between physical activity and mental health.
