Personal profile
Research interests

- participatory community data collection
- exploration of the role of traditional orchards and heritage apples in biodiversity, climate change and cultural resiliance
Teaching interests
My teaching focus is on the use of geospatial data and technologies, and application of cartographic principles, to create maps and other geovisualisations to explore contemporary topics - primarily in wildlife conservation and environmental protection, and recently also in public health and epidemiology. Additional teaching relates to my other knowledge and interests including practical conservation and natural resource management, nature restoration and recovery, and climate change mitigation.
