Matthew Gravelle-Eagles

I have worked in higher education since 2003, maintaining high-quality standards across all academic courses in which I am involved. I have served as an External Examiner for undergraduate and postgraduate Animation courses at a range of institutions, contributing to the sharing of best practice and the enhancement of teaching and learning. I am committed to continuous professional development and regularly attend conferences, workshops and training sessions to remain current within my discipline. I also actively foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student success and academic excellence.

Alongside my academic practice, I have collaborated on numerous projects, including multi-award-winning short films and commercial campaigns. My own short films have been selected for film festivals worldwide and have received several awards and nominations, including a Welsh BAFTA award for Best Newcomer in 2003. My professional profile has led to invitations to speak at international seminars, including in China, Japan and Germany. I have also been interviewed for television and radio, with my work broadcast nationally and internationally.
