Personal profile

Research interests

My current research focuses on tunable laser metrology for radar and precision measurement, optical design and testing of laser and illumination systems, laser-matter interactions in Nanophotonics, Metamaterial, and Plasmonic with high power laser (solid, semiconductor, and fiber laser etc.) and their application for industiral, biomedical, and telecommunication. I am also interested in the nonlinear optical properties (TPA, SHG, FWM, dispersion, etc.) investigation in metamaterial, high nonlinear fiber, and semiconductor like GaAs and InP based III-V material, especially focus on the optoelectronic devices for nano-resonators, photonics crystal cavity, metasurfaces on III-V, photorefractive, and magneto-optic materials and their potential application in 3D nano structured material for biomedical sensing, fast modulator, wavelength convertor, and all-optical devices, etc.
