Jackie’s experience extends from working in adverising and marketing, engineering, manufacturing,and international education to software development and work based learning companies. She joined the university in 2003 and has since become a Fellow of the NCGE (UK) and a Chartered Marketer (CIM). Jackie uses her experience to support students and businesses to recognize and develop market opportunities. She teaches on post-graduate, professional and tailored courses in marketing, digital marketing and business development. She completed her PhD in SME marketing in 2018 and has presented her research at academic and practitioner conferences around the world.
Dr Jacqueline Harris has been working with businesses in South Wales to better understand and use information strategically. Her work at the University of South Wales involves delivering both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, such as omnichannel retailing and emerging themes in marketing. Jackie has developed a masters in Strategic Digital Marketing that is accredited by the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing where students work with businesses in areas such as campaign planning, content marketing and PR, use of digital tools, technologies and metrics as well as digital transformation and management. She also briefs companies on GDPR legislation due May 2018.
