Inga Burrows is a Senior Lecturer in Film, in the Faculty of Creative Industries, University of South Wales. She is a practicing artist/filmmaker, specializing in teaching project development, directing fiction years 1-3. In addtion she is the pathway leader for MA Directing.
Before taking up a full-time post at University of South Wales (Glamorgan) I lectured in Media Production at University of Central Lancashire.
Prior to working in Higher Education Inga developed her studio practice as an animator and live action filmmaker, alongside teaching in adult eduction and working as a community artist.
In October 2022 Inga was awarded an Arts Council of Wales grant for her new poject Good Grief. In diaolgue with 3 other professional artists new work will be created on the theme of grieving creatively for exhibtion that Inga will curate in collaboration with Art Central, Barry in Autumn 2023.
