I hold a Doctor in Science from Waseda University, Tokyo (2010), a Master of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Sydney (2003), and a Bachelor of Economics from the National Economic University, Hanoi (1998).

Prior to joining the University of South Wales, I held post-doctoral research positions at Tampere University (Finland, 2021–2023), Åbo Akademi University (Finland, 2016–2019), the University of Turku (Finland, 2015–2016), and the University of Eastern Finland (2012–2014). I have contributed to international research projects funded by the Finnish Cultural Foundation, the Japan Foundation, the Danish Agency for Science Technology and Innovation, and APEC.

I am Task Co-leader in Work Package 3 (Digital Mental Health for Young People) of COST Action CA23153, European Cooperation in Science and Technology. I am also a Scientific Committee Member for the Phenikaa University Business and Economics Conference (PUBEC) 2025 and a Programme Committee Member for the GOBLIN Workshop on Knowledge Graph Technologies 2025. I serve as a peer reviewer for journals including Computers in Human Behavior and Journal of Systems and Information Technology, and for the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS).

I am currently Director of Studies for three PhD students at the University of South Wales, researching information systems agility, blockchain for knowledge platforms, and digitalisation in supply chain management. I also welcome enquiries from prospective master's and doctoral students interested in digital transformation, information systems management, e-health, FinTech, and business analytics.
