Gill Edwards is a classically trained pianist and cellist who, for many years, sang professionally on concert platforms and in sessions on the London circuit. She also played Bass Guitar with a function band.

In the 1990’s, she worked as a Production Music Consultant for Boosey & Hawkes and Amphonic Music Ltd, and in Management for The Mechanical Copyright Protection Society (MCPS).

Her orchestration and arrangement skills have been used by the BBC and commercial rock bands, and her compositions have been used for television, radio and advertising.

Gill’s specialist interests lies in Music Theory, Composition & Analysis, Music Industry Practice (in particular, Music Publishing and Intellectual Property Rights) and Entrepreneurship.

Her continuing practice in enabling musicians of diverse genre, talents, and ages to make music together through composition and performance involves her in the leadership of various music projects with organisations such as the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and First Campus.

As a qualified Hypnotherapist, her practice specialises in Performance Anxiety.
