Research Profile

I Joined the University of South Wales as a Lecturer in Logistics and Operation Management in July 2023. I had the opportunity to work on several multi-disciplinary projects both in academic and industry settings and accumulated over fifteen years of experience in conducting research to inform policy decision making. After securing my PhD in transport planning from Loughborough University, I worked on the Welsh Government funded Welsh 2050 project at Cardiff University. Following the completion of this project, I delivered several projects with a focus on resolving the challenges experienced by the transport freight sector as a Policy Analyst and Researcher at the RHA. Prior to this job, I held two research positions at Cardiff Metropolitan University and successfully help deliver the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and Marine Energy Engineering Centre of Excellence (MEECE) projects. As part of the MEECE project, we investigated the supply chain resiliency performance indicators of the Welsh marine renewable energy sector. I am interested in the applications of statistical and spatial methods in resolving complex challenges associated with the supply chain management and logistics operations.
