I am a distinguished academic with over 10 years higher education practice experience in UK universities (Manchester Metropolitan University, Cardiff University, University of South Wales). I am currently a full time Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of South Wales.

I am a senior fellow of the higher education academy (SFHEA) and a certified management and business educator (CMBE) both in the UK. I obtained a B.Sc. in Administration (Accounting) from the University of Ghana; an M.Sc. in Financial Forecasting and Investment from the University of Glasgow; and a PhD in Business, Finance and Economics from Manchester Metropolitan University.

I have published in reputable peer reviewed academic journals including Africa Journal of Management, Cogent business & management, Cogent Economics & Finance, among others. I have presented at, and co-organised international academic conferences such as the 24th Academy of African Business and Development (AABD) Annual Conference in the United States of America (Washburn University, Topeka, Kansas, USA, from May 14 to 18, 2024), where I also chaired the session on Sustainability, Business Ethics and Social Responsibility.

My research interests are broadly in Business management (Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability/ESG, Corporate Governance & Financial Performance, Foreign Direct Investment), Economic growth and development of emerging economies. I currently recruit and supervise PhDs in these fields and welcome interdisciplinary collaborations as well as media and public engagements.
