Teaching interests

Benjamin is currently a Lecturer in Clincal Science and Module Leader for Foundation Biophysics, Biomechanics, Clincal Diagnosis and Public Health for Chiropractors. Benjamin has also contributed to the following modules: Exercise Prescription; Anatomy and Physiology; Exercise Physiology; and Environmental Physiology.

Research interests

Benjamin graduated from the University of South Wales with a First class honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Following his graduation, Benjamin began undertaking a PhD in Physiology and Biochemistry at the Neurovascular Research Laboratory, Faculty of Life Sciences and Education, University of South Wales, researching the effects of low oxygen levels (hypoxia) on the regulation of cerebrovascular (brain) function. Other research interests include: enviromental physiology (high-altitude adaptation; thermoregulation and microgravity); exercise physiology; oxidative stress; and nitric-oxide metabolism.
