Adnan completed his 6 year PhD in the University of Northampton evaluating the effects of Whole Body Cryotherapy for sports recovery and performance. Adnan previously completed his MRes in Bangor University and graduated from Cardiff University. As part of the Neurovascular Research team, current research interests are effects of hypoxia and cold on cerebrovascular function and progression of high altitude syndromes. Project collaborations are welcomed.
Adnan joined the team as a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science in January 2022 and predominantly specialises in Exercise Physiology. He is currently module leader for Measurement and Evaluation of Human Performance; Exercise Physiology, Introduction to Sports Science for Coaching, Exercise for Special Populations and Physical Activity for Health (MSc), as well as teaching Anatomy, Sports Performance and Nutrition.
