Experience
Adam has taught Sport as a Lecturer in FE and HE for over 11 years working at Preston College, Education Manager at Wigan Athletic Community Trust and at EFL Trust as Higher Education Programme Manager, supporting the development and ongoing success of the partnership with USW for a number of years. He also has significant experience as a community sports coach and in the P.E, community football and sports development industry. Adam is an Alumni of USW having studied an MA Leadership in Sport between 2017-2020.Alongside his Lecturer role is also a Coach Developer with The F.A supporting the delivery of 'Introduction to Coaching Football (Level 1).
Teaching interests
Adam is a Lecturer delivering across Levels 4-6 of the sports courses here at USW. He is Course Leader for BA Hons Sports Business and Management and Year 1 Foundation Degree Community Football Coaching and Development as part of the Blended Learning courses delivered in partnership with EFL Trust at over 40 football and rugby clubs across England and Wales. He is module leader for a number of Level 4 and 5 modules including: Managing Sport, Sport Placement, Introduction to Sports Business Principles, Introduction to Sports Finance, Promotion and Marketing in Sport. He has also been supervising Level 6 students with research projects for a number of years.
