The project was conducted under he umbreella of CAPSE as a prrt of £3.5 ERDF funded scheme. The impacts included: 1. Optimal Cell Selection
We identified the best high-power lithium cell through IEC-standard testing of four leading technologies.
2. Regenerative Braking Pack Prototype
We developed a battery pack capable of capturing 50% braking energy at up to 600A per cell.
3. Clean Vehicle Advancement
Our work supported Riversimple’s next-gen hydrogen vehicle platform with cutting-edge energy recovery tech.
4. Enhanced Energy Recovery
The pack enables fast charge-discharge cycles to boost vehicle efficiency during braking and acceleration.
5. Cost-Driven Innovation
We ensured the battery solution met performance needs while remaining economically viable for deployment.
